Imperiale Chicory

Imperiale FabricCCF0132-02

Imperiale Chicory combines a cool, dusty blue with warm beige in an intricate scrolling damask design. Its close-up texture gives the pattern a tactile, softly dimensional finish rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

The colourway is defined by deep muted blue outlines and curling paisley-like forms set against a warm beige ground, creating a cool-meets-earthy contrast. Fine woven texture catches the light across the motifs, adding depth to the dense ornamental layout. Weighing 253 gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery and drapery, with a 144 cm usable width. The pattern repeats every 24.5 cm vertically and 24 cm horizontally, making the compact damask easy to place across furnishing or window treatments.

How to use it

Use Imperiale Chicory to bring restrained blue depth to a traditional sitting room, pairing its warm beige detail with oatmeal upholstery, aged brass and dark wood. The muted tone also works well as a textured curtain or accent chair fabric in a layered neutral scheme.

Use the cool dusty blue and warm beige palette with stone, oatmeal or dark timber for a richly layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
