About this fabric

The design is made up of tiny floral or sprig-like marks, repeated closely so the cobalt detail reads as a delicate blue texture from a distance. The pale aqua ground keeps the colourway light, while the stronger blue flecks add definition without making the surface feel heavy. At 252 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeats vertically and horizontally at 17.2 cm, giving the small-scale design a consistent rhythm across the cloth.

How to use it

Use Gamthi Cobalt on occasional upholstery, cushions or relaxed curtains where its cool aqua base can brighten the room; echo the cobalt flecks with deeper blue accents for definition.

Pair the cool aqua ground and cobalt detail with crisp whites, soft greys or natural timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
