Kalamkari Cobalt

Indira Wallcoverings WallpaperCCW0160-02

Kalamkari Cobalt presents a crisp vertical arrangement of ornate cobalt-blue scrolling motifs against a pale icy ground. The narrow decorative bands repeat across the wallpaper, creating a strong sense of rhythm without losing the lightness of the background.

About this fabric

The design combines saturated cobalt and turquoise-blue linework with curling floral forms, small ornamental details and geometric edging. Its cool blue-and-white contrast gives the colourway a clear, graphic presence, while the fine printed detail keeps each stripe finely articulated. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a standard roll length of 10.05 m. The vertical pattern repeat is 12.9 cm, with no horizontal repeat, and the listed weight is 147 gsm.

How to use it

Use Kalamkari Cobalt on a full wall or within framed panels where its cool, high-contrast stripe can add definition. Pair it with white, pale blue and natural timber for a fresh scheme, or introduce darker navy accents to deepen the cobalt tone.

Use this cool cobalt-and-white stripe to bring crisp architectural rhythm to a hallway, bedroom or feature wall.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
