About this fabric

This plain chenille has a substantial 456 gsm weight and a closely woven surface of 69 threads per cm, making it well suited to upholstery. The midnight blue-grey tone shifts subtly across the weave, with fine lighter flecks catching the light against the darker ground. It has a 137 cm usable width and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing the quiet surface to be positioned without pattern matching. The standard length is 35 m.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Midnight on a tailored sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool blue-grey depth can anchor pale timber, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. Pair it with warm ivory or muted rust accents to soften the shade without losing its inky character.
