About this fabric

This 456 gsm fabric has a closely woven, tactile chenille texture, visible as fine tonal variation across the dark ink-blue ground. The substantial weight makes it particularly suited to upholstery, where the rich colour can give seating a grounded, tailored appearance. It has a 137 cm usable width and a standard length of 35 m. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats and 69 threads per cm, the swatch reads as a continuous textured field without a directional motif.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Ink on a sofa, armchair or dining seat when a room needs a cool, near-navy anchor rather than a bright blue accent. Pair its dense blue tone with pale stone, smoky grey or warm timber to bring out the subtle texture without competing with it.

A deep ink-blue chenille for tailored upholstery, bringing cool colour and subtle woven texture to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
