About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Jaipur Chenille colourway is a quiet cream with a lightly warm, almost chalky ivory cast. The close-up reveals delicate horizontal movement and tiny tonal shifts across the weave, giving the plain surface more depth than a flat solid. At 456gsm and 69 threads per centimetre, it has the substantial, compact presence expected of an upholstery cloth. Its 137cm usable width and 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to cut for upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Pair the warm ivory tone with natural timber, oatmeal linens and softly aged metals for a calm, layered scheme. It is especially effective on structured chairs, headboards or a compact sofa where the subtle weave can be seen at close range.
