About this fabric

The warm ivory ground is crossed by repeated vertical bands in muted antique gold, with scrolling floral medallions framed by fine brown-gold lines. At 52 cm usable width, the bands create a narrow, clearly directional layout rather than a full-width all-over field. The 12.9 cm vertical repeat gives the floral ornament a compact rhythm, while the horizontal repeat is specified as 0 cm. Supplied at a 10.05 m standard length and weighing 147 gsm, this wallpaper combines its compact ornamental repeat with a defined, structured presentation.

How to use it

Use Kalamkari Antique on a feature wall where its warm ivory base can brighten the scheme, then echo the antique-gold stripes with aged brass, ochre textiles and dark timber. Its vertical layout suits panels, alcoves and other areas where the scrolling ornament can be read at close range.
