About this fabric

The fine cream surface is crossed by alternating plain ivory columns and narrow patterned stripes in a muted antique-gold tone. The small geometric design repeats every 11.4cm vertically and horizontally, keeping the ornament finely scaled across the cloth. At 252gsm and 137cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery. A thread count of 38 threads per cm supports the neat, closely detailed appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Kalamkari Antique where a room needs a light, warm neutral with more definition than a plain cream: full-length curtains, Roman blinds, occasional chairs or coordinated cushions. Its antique-gold stripes work particularly well with natural timber, aged brass and softly coloured upholstery.

Use the warm ivory ground and antique-gold stripe detail to bring gentle structure to curtains, cushions or tailored upholstery.
