About this fabric

The pattern combines repeated cream elephants with curling botanical sprigs and muted gold detailing, creating a lively all-over surface against the deep teal background. The cool, saturated ground gives the colourway visual depth, while the warmer motifs add contrast and prevent it from reading flat. Hathi Teal has a 137 cm usable width, a 252 gsm weight and a 17.2 cm repeat vertically and horizontally. With 38 threads per cm, the closely woven textile is versatile enough for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Hathi Teal on a statement chair, bench or pair of curtains where its cool blue-green depth can anchor a room. Pick up the pattern’s cream and muted gold details in plain cushions, painted furniture or warm metal accents.

Use the saturated teal ground to bring depth to upholstery, cushions or full-length drapery, with warm cream and gold accents echoing the motifs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
