Indira Fabrics FabricCCF0852-03

Hathi Sage combines a pale, cool sage ground with a densely scattered botanical design. Fine curling stems, tiny leaves and small flowers bring rose, ochre and muted grey accents across the surface.

About this fabric

The small-scale botanical pattern is closely spaced, with delicate leafy sprigs and miniature blooms giving the sage background a softly layered, garden-like appearance. Its muted green tone reads cool and gently faded rather than vivid, while the rose and ochre details add restrained warmth. At 252 gsm and 137 cm usable width, Hathi Sage is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats vertically and horizontally at 17.2 cm, and the cloth has 38 threads per cm.

How to use it

Pair Hathi Sage with warm ivory, pale timber and aged brass for a light, quietly traditional room. Use it on curtains, occasional upholstery or cushions where the sage ground can soften stronger floral or patterned pieces.

Use this softly coloured botanical for fresh, collected upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
