About this fabric

At 456 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with enough visual weight for sofas, chairs and footstools. The close weave is visibly textured rather than flat, formed by fine horizontal and vertical threads that create a restrained tonal variation. It has a 137 cm usable width and 69 threads per cm, while the zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make cutting straightforward. The low-contrast celadon shade keeps the surface calm, allowing the weave to provide its interest without a printed motif.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Celadon on a contemporary sofa, dining chair or headboard where its cool green-grey tone can soften warmer timber and natural stone. Pair it with chalky whites, pale oak and muted blue-greens for a quiet, layered scheme.

A substantial chenille with a quiet celadon tone and fine woven texture for upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
