About this fabric

The 456gsm cloth has a substantial woven handle suited to upholstery, while its fine, even surface keeps the colourway visually calm rather than rustic. Warm ivory and light beige tones sit together across the face, with the weave creating delicate changes in depth as the light moves over it. With a 137cm usable width, the fabric is supplied in a standard 35m length. Both pattern repeat measurements are 0cm, and the stated 69 threads per cm reflect the closely constructed surface.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Birch on a tailored sofa, armchair or headboard where its pale warm-neutral tone can brighten the room without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky whites, light oak and softly contrasting taupes to bring out the weave’s subtle depth.

A softly textured pale neutral for upholstery where a calm, lightly dimensional surface is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
