Otranto Linen

Imperiale FabricCCF0137-04

Otranto Linen pairs a pale, softly textured linen-toned ground with a muted taupe damask of scrolling leaves, paisley curls and central botanical forms. Its low-contrast colouring keeps the ornate pattern calm rather than showy.

About this fabric

The design is woven in a large formal repeat, with the 65.2 cm vertical and 49.2 cm horizontal pattern helping the scrolling motifs read clearly across a larger surface. In this colourway, warm ivory-beige and pale taupe create a gentle, chalky contrast, while the fine horizontal weave adds subtle surface definition. At 302 gsm and 145 cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The standard length is 40 m, making it practical for coordinated room schemes requiring a consistent run.

How to use it

Use Otranto Linen to soften a traditional armchair or headboard, or make full-length curtains where its pale linen ground can brighten the room and the taupe damask adds quiet architectural detail.

A softly contrasting damask for elegant upholstery, curtains or coordinating interior accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
