About this fabric

At 302gsm, this substantial woven fabric has enough body for both upholstery and drapery applications. The colourway is quietly cool and grounded, with pale cream motifs standing clearly against the deeper taupe background while retaining a softened, low-contrast feel. Its scrolling leaves, curled tendrils and central symmetrical medallion create a formal damask layout across the cloth. The 145cm usable width carries a 65.2cm vertical repeat and 49.2cm horizontal repeat, allowing the design to be planned with attention to motif placement.

How to use it

Use Otranto Taupe on a classic armchair, dining chair or full-length curtain where its taupe-grey depth can anchor warmer ivory, stone and natural timber tones. The pale damask details also make it effective for coordinating cushions without introducing a brighter accent colour.

The muted taupe ground and pale scrolling damask bring a softly traditional, tailored character to upholstery, curtains and cushions.
