About this fabric

The close weave creates a quietly irregular, almost salt-and-pepper texture rather than a visible motif, giving this colourway more depth than a flat plain. Its cool mist-taupe ground has a softened, understated character that sits comfortably between grey and brown. Weighing 290 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight textile for both upholstery and drapery. The 140 cm usable width and zero vertical and horizontal pattern repeat make it straightforward to position across a clean, uninterrupted surface.

How to use it

Use Highlander Mist on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain scheme where its cool taupe tone can soften darker timber, stone and muted neutral furnishings. Pair it with chalky whites and grey-beiges to emphasise the woven surface without introducing a competing pattern.

A softly mottled taupe weave that brings subtle texture to upholstery, curtains and coordinated room schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
