About this fabric

The visible design is an irregular, medium-scale marbling of pale chalky patches, warm taupe pools and fine brown-grey lines, creating a gently weathered stone effect. Rather than reading as flat beige, this colourway has cool pale highlights alongside warmer earthy depth. The dense, textured appearance and 346 gsm weight make it particularly well suited to upholstery. It has a usable width of 142 cm, with a 41 cm vertical repeat and a 48.2 cm horizontal repeat; the standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use Marmo Linen on a statement armchair, ottoman or sofa where its layered taupe and stone colouring can soften darker timber and bring subtle movement to a neutral room. Pair it with chalk upholstery piping, warm limestone shades or muted brown accents to pick up the colourway’s mineral warmth.

A softly marbled taupe textile that brings layered stone tones to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marmo Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
