Otranto Antique

Imperiale FabricCCF0137-01

Otranto Antique has a softly aged, olive-gold damask drawn across an ivory woven ground. Its muted colouring gives the ornate pattern a quieter, more collected presence than a high-contrast damask.

About this fabric

The fabric shows curling scrolls, leaf forms and a central diamond arrangement in antique olive gold, with the ivory ground remaining visible between the motifs. A fine, regular woven texture catches the light across the surface, gently tempering the pattern’s formal character. At 302gsm and 145cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The pattern repeats every 65.2cm vertically and 49.2cm horizontally, so the damask will need considered placement when cutting.

How to use it

Pair this cool, softened olive-gold colourway with warm ivory, aged timber and muted stone for a restrained traditional room. It would give a reading chair, occasional sofa or generous curtain panels a sense of depth without introducing a bright accent.

Use the antique olive-and-ivory damask to bring tailored pattern and softened heritage colour to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
