Otranto Ivory

Imperiale FabricCCF0137-03

Otranto Ivory combines a softly warm ivory ground with pale taupe-grey scrolling ornament in a quietly low-contrast colourway. The intricate design is especially clear in the central urn-like motif and curling foliage visible across the swatch.

About this fabric

The woven surface features an ornate damask arrangement of scrolling leaves, shell-like flourishes and a central medallion, set against fine horizontal ribbing. Its pale taupe ornament sits gently against the ivory ground, giving the pattern definition without a strong colour break. At 302 gsm and 145 cm usable width, this substantial furnishing fabric is suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 65.2 cm vertical repeat and 49.2 cm horizontal repeat should be allowed for when matching the formal composition across a larger project.

How to use it

Use Otranto Ivory to soften a classic chair, headboard or curtain scheme with its warm ivory base and restrained taupe-grey pattern. Pair it with chalky neutrals, light oak and aged metal so the detailed damask remains the room’s quiet focal point.

Use this softly contrasting ivory and taupe damask on classic upholstery, curtains or coordinating cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
