About this fabric

The muted blue-grey background gives this ornate design a cooler, quieter character, while the pale ivory motifs remain crisp and prominent. Sweeping scrolls, curling paisleys and stylised foliage create a substantial large-scale pattern with strong visual movement. At 302 gsm and 145 cm usable width, it has the presence for upholstery as well as full-length drapery. The pattern repeats every 65.2 cm vertically and 49.2 cm horizontally, useful measurements when planning joins and placement.

How to use it

Use Otranto Chicory to bring gentle blue-grey depth to a formal sitting room, pairing it with chalky ivory, weathered timber and brushed metal. On a chair or sofa, its pale scrolling pattern makes a confident focal point; at the window, it softens the room without losing its decorative definition.

A cool blue-grey damask for tailored upholstery, curtains and elegant accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
