Marmo Ivory

Imperiale FabricCCF0136-03

Marmo Ivory brings together a pale ivory ground with irregular taupe, beige and grey marbling. In the swatch, the broken mineral-like pattern gives the light colourway gentle depth rather than a flat, plain appearance.

About this fabric

At 346gsm, Marmo Ivory has the substantial weight expected of a fabric suited to upholstery. Its 41cm vertical and 48.2cm horizontal pattern repeats create a clearly varied surface, with pale areas interrupted by softly defined taupe, beige and grey shapes. The 142cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical quantities for larger upholstery projects. The textured face catches the light unevenly across the ivory ground, making the overall effect muted, layered and quietly tactile.

How to use it

Pair Marmo Ivory with warm timber, aged stone and soft taupe upholstery for a calm, layered scheme. Its pale ivory base can brighten a chair or sofa, while the grey-beige marbling helps connect it to darker neutral accents.

Use this softly mottled ivory colourway to lighten upholstered seating while retaining the depth of its taupe and grey marbling.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
