Jaipur Cinnamon has a warm, earthy reddish-brown tone with the depth of cinnamon and terracotta. Its close, subtly irregular woven surface catches the light softly rather than appearing completely flat.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Jaipur Chenille colourway is a plain textile with no pattern repeat, allowing its richly muted cinnamon tone and fine crosswoven texture to remain the focus. At 456 gsm, it has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while the 137 cm usable width supports practical cutting on larger furniture. The dense surface shows a restrained tonal variation across the warm terracotta ground, giving the colour depth without introducing a separate motif. A specification of 69 threads per centimetre reinforces the tightly constructed appearance visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use Jaipur Cinnamon on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm terracotta-brown tone can anchor cream, tobacco, walnut and aged brass accents. Its quiet, pattern-free surface also works well alongside patterned cushions without competing for attention.

A substantial cinnamon-toned chenille with a finely woven surface, well suited to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
