Kalpa Spice
Indira Fabrics FabricCCF0849-07
Kalpa Spice is a warm, richly coloured textile with a spice-terracotta ground and a closely spaced cream geometric motif. Its small-scale pattern reads as textured and intricate across the swatch, with the pale lines giving the colourway a lifted finish.

About this fabric
The 252 gsm fabric combines a warm terracotta base with an all-over cream interlocking design that creates a lively, finely patterned surface. The dense repeat has a crisp, almost drawn quality, while the woven texture softens the contrast between the saturated ground and pale motif. With a usable width of 137 cm, Kalpa Spice is suitable for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its pattern repeats every 19.8 cm vertically and 17.2 cm horizontally, making the design easy to assess across larger cuts.
How to use it
Pair Kalpa Spice with natural timber, aged brass and warm neutral upholstery to balance its earthy terracotta tone. Used on a statement chair, bench or relaxed curtain, the cream geometry adds definition without losing the colourway’s inviting warmth.
Use the warm terracotta ground and cream geometric repeat to bring focused pattern and earthy colour to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kalpa Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
