Kalpa Sage

Indira Fabrics FabricCCF0849-06

Kalpa Sage presents a cool, muted sage-green ground overlaid with a fine cream geometric motif. The closely repeated pattern has a softly textured woven appearance, giving the colourway a light, calm depth rather than a stark contrast.

About this fabric

This 252 gsm fabric combines a pale sage ground with an all-over cream pattern of interlocking, softly angular shapes. Its small-scale design repeats every 19.8 cm vertically and 17.2 cm horizontally, creating a consistent trellis-like rhythm across the cloth. With 38 threads per cm and a 137 cm usable width, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery or drapery. The low-contrast sage and cream palette keeps the geometric surface composed and quietly decorative.

How to use it

Use Kalpa Sage on occasional upholstery, relaxed Roman blinds or full curtains where its cool green tone can sit alongside chalk, oat and pale timber. The fine cream pattern also works well as a coordinating textile against plain sage or warm ivory furnishings.

Pair the cool sage ground with chalky neutrals, pale oak and natural linen for a fresh, quietly tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
