About this fabric

The flame shade reads as a rich terracotta orange, with a gently softened appearance rather than a bright, saturated orange. Its fine plain weave creates a restrained crosshatch texture that catches the light in small tonal shifts. Weighing 290 gsm, the fabric has the substance of a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery. It has a 140 cm usable width, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, making the uninterrupted surface straightforward to position.

How to use it

Use Highlander Flame to warm a neutral room through an occasional chair, upholstered bench or full-length curtain. Its earthy burnt-orange tone pairs naturally with warm wood, ochre, camel and softened cream.

The warm flame tone and understated woven texture bring depth to upholstery, curtains and coordinating soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
