Highlander Ebony

Highlander 2 FabricCCF0439-10

Highlander Ebony is a near-black charcoal textile with a finely mottled woven surface. Its depth is softened by subtle tonal variation, so the swatch reads as rich rather than flat.

About this fabric

The close, understated weave combines charcoal and black threads, creating a low-contrast grain that becomes more visible where the light catches the surface. At 290gsm and 140cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight option for both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the plain surface straightforward to position. A standard length of 40m supports larger coordinated schemes in this deep, quietly tailored colourway.

How to use it

Use Highlander Ebony on a structured armchair, bench or dining seat to create a grounded charcoal anchor, or carry it through full-length curtains for a darker, enveloping room. Pair the near-black tone with warm timber, aged brass or pale stone to bring definition without introducing a competing pattern.

The deep charcoal-black tone and quiet woven texture suit tailored upholstery, curtains and layered monochrome schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
