About this fabric

The close-up shows a deep ebony brown-black ground threaded with fine, irregular horizontal flecks that soften the intensity of the colour. At 267 gsm, it has a substantial mid-weight handle suited to both upholstery and drapery. The 140 cm usable width supports practical cutting, while the 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to position without matching a motif. The supplied standard length is 40 metres.

How to use it

Use Lucania Ebony to ground a room with a warm near-black accent: upholster a clean-lined chair or sofa, or use it for curtains where the subtly variegated weave can temper the darkness. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and lighter natural textiles to keep the brown undertone visible.
