Imperiale Mineral is a softly textured woven fabric in a cool mineral blue-grey, layered with pale ivory scrolls and curling floral forms. Its low-contrast colouring gives the ornate pattern a calm, weathered quality.

About this fabric

The surface combines a muted blue-grey ground with ivory-beige motifs that resemble scrolling foliage, small blossoms and paisley-like curls. A close, tactile weave is visible across the swatch, giving the pale pattern gentle definition rather than a sharp printed contrast. The design has a 24.5 cm vertical repeat and 24 cm horizontal repeat, creating a medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. At 253 gsm and 144 cm wide, it is a versatile mid-weight suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Pair this cool mineral blue-grey with chalky whites, warm stone and pale timber for a relaxed, softly layered scheme. It works particularly well on occasional upholstery or full-length curtains where the ivory detailing can catch the light without becoming dominant.

Use this softly contrasted mineral blue-grey weave to add quiet pattern to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Imperiale Mineral without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
