About this fabric

The close weave has a subtle vertical grain, with lighter and darker grey threads creating a quiet smoky variation across the surface. At 290 gsm, it has the visual substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The fabric has a 140 cm usable width and a 40 m standard length. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut without matching a design.

How to use it

Use Highlander Smoke on a contemporary sofa or tailored armchair where its cool grey tone will feel calm and architectural. It can also soften dark-framed windows as understated curtains or blinds, especially alongside pale stone, charcoal or brushed metal accents.

Use this cool smoke-grey weave to bring understated depth to sofas, occasional chairs, curtains or blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
