Woodsford Charcoal

Heritage FabricCCF0325-02

Woodsford Charcoal combines a deep charcoal-grey ground with densely drawn botanical forms in black and pale grey linework. Large florals, paisley shapes, leaves and curling stems create a richly detailed, tapestry-like surface.

About this fabric

The dark, cool-toned ground gives the floral drawing a subdued depth, while lighter woven details pick out petals, seed heads and curling foliage across the design. At 510gsm, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery rather than a lightweight window treatment. Its 137cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical coverage for larger upholstery projects. The pattern has a pronounced 63.3cm vertical repeat and 70cm horizontal repeat, so careful matching will showcase the sweeping botanical composition.

How to use it

Use Woodsford Charcoal on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard in a room built around chalky greys, aged wood and blackened metal. Its cool charcoal depth suits tonal interiors where the intricate floral pattern supplies the main visual interest.

A weighty charcoal floral for statement upholstery, where its intricate botanical detail can be appreciated at close range.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
