Milton Teal

Heritage FabricCCF0291-09

Milton Teal has a cool, softened teal ground with fine pale threads creating a lightly mottled, almost linen-like surface. Its close-up texture gives the colour gentle variation rather than a flat block of blue-green.

About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 519gsm and has a usable width of 137cm, making it particularly well suited to upholstery. The image shows tightly packed horizontal and vertical threads, with pale flecks breaking up the aqua-teal shade and giving the surface a subtly weathered depth. There is no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, so the textured plain can be cut without aligning a motif. Its cool blue-green tone reads quietly on the face of the cloth, while the uneven weave adds visual softness.

How to use it

Use Milton Teal on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its muted aqua depth can sit alongside warm timber, chalky neutrals and brushed brass. The understated woven texture also works well as a calm colour anchor in a layered blue-green scheme.

A substantial teal woven with a softly irregular surface, well suited to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
