About this fabric

This substantial 451gsm fabric is suited to upholstery, with a 137cm usable width for planning larger applications. Its repeating design combines large teardrop-shaped paisley forms, curled tendrils and dense floral detailing in chalky ivory against the muted blue-green ground. The 35.5cm vertical and 35cm horizontal repeats create a clearly ordered pattern, while the softly mottled surface keeps the pale colourway from appearing flat. Light catches the raised-looking pale pattern, bringing definition to the scrolling motifs without making the overall effect highly contrasty.

How to use it

Use Pastiche Duckegg on a traditional armchair, headboard or statement sofa where its cool blue-green tone can sit alongside warm ivory, pale timber and aged brass. Its restrained contrast also allows the ornate repeat to work as a calm backdrop to deeper teal or weathered neutrals.
