About this fabric

The design shows fine grey and taupe-toned stems winding vertically across the cloth, with narrow leaves and recurring sprays of saturated chartreuse-yellow flowers. Against the cool, pale sage ground, the flowers read as fresh yet gently muted rather than vivid or heavily contrasted. With a 440 gsm weight and 137 cm usable width, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery. The pattern has a 32.5 cm vertical repeat and 44 cm horizontal repeat, creating a regular, medium-scale botanical rhythm.

How to use it

Use Melrose Chartreuse on a statement chair, headboard or compact sofa, balancing its cool sage background with chalky neutrals, warm grey and natural timber. The chartreuse flower clusters work well as the room’s small, fresh accent colour.
