About this fabric

The substantial 510gsm cloth has a visibly textured weave, giving the pale taupe background gentle depth beneath the densely outlined floral design. Large flower heads, curling leaves and paisley-like botanical forms are picked out in muted denim blue, creating a cooler and more tailored impression than the warm ground alone suggests. Its 63.3cm vertical and 70cm horizontal pattern repeat gives the design a generous, room-defining scale. The 137cm usable width and 40m standard length provide practical specification details for upholstery planning.

How to use it

Use Woodsford Denim on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue linework can balance warm timber, natural linen and aged brass. The taupe ground keeps the large-scale pattern settled, while the denim tone adds definition without becoming bright or stark.

A substantial woven floral with a cool denim-blue drawing that brings tailored country character to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
