Imperiale Linen combines a softly weathered sage-olive motif with a warm ivory ground. The intricate scrolling pattern has a tactile, woven appearance, while the low-contrast colour keeps the overall impression calm.

About this fabric

This 253gsm fabric shows curling damask-style forms in muted olive sage, outlined against an ivory base with subtle tonal variation across the weave. Its 24.5cm vertical and 24cm horizontal pattern repeats create a regular ornamental rhythm without making the design feel oversized. With a 144cm usable width and 40m standard length, it is well suited to coordinated upholstery and drapery projects. The softened contrast and lightly textured surface give this colourway a quietly aged, tailored character.

How to use it

Pair the sage-olive and ivory tones with chalky neutrals, pale oak and aged brass for a relaxed traditional scheme. Use it on a statement chair or full-length curtains where the scrolling repeat can be appreciated across the surface.

Use this muted sage-olive and ivory colourway to bring softly patterned depth to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
