Marldon Olive

Albeck FabricF3701-15

Marldon Olive is a quietly textured olive-brown fabric with a dry, natural-looking surface and a subtle woven speckle. Its muted depth gives the colourway an earthy, refined feel rather than a bright green cast.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft olive with brown and khaki undertones, and the close weave gives it a compact, tailored look in the image. The surface has a lightly granular texture that catches the light in tiny flecks, adding depth without any obvious pattern, and the design has no repeat at approx V 0cm / H 0cm. With a 145cm approximate width and a composition of 57% viscose, 21% cotton, 12% linen and 10% polyester, it has the balance of softness and structure you want for scheme work. The muted tone keeps it versatile, while the linen and cotton content help preserve the slightly rustic, cloth-like character visible here.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, banquette or relaxed curtain where the olive-brown shade can sit comfortably with timber, leather and stone. It pairs especially well with warm neutrals and deeper forest greens for a layered, understated room.

A grounded olive neutral that works beautifully across upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

Marldon Olive is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
