About this fabric

This fabric is specified for fixed upholstery and has a 35,000 Martindale rub test, making it well suited to contract and general domestic seating. The composition blends 53% viscose, 26% linen, 16% cotton and 5% polyester, which helps create the cloth’s softly lustrous yet matt, slightly slubbed finish. In this colourway, the olive and sepia tones sit close together, so the pattern reads as tonal and earthy rather than high-contrast, with the lighter threads lifting the weave as the light moves across it. It is 137cm wide, has an approximate 35cm vertical pattern repeat, and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Tidal Sepia on an armchair, banquette or headboard where you want an understated, tailored look with warmth. Its olive-brown depth pairs naturally with oak, aged brass, tobacco leather and soft cream upholstery.

A grounded olive-brown with subtle texture for tailored seating or accent pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
