Luxury Plains FabricZOF0095-10

Spanish Olive is a deeply muted olive chenille with a brown-gold cast that changes subtly across the ridged surface. The close-up shows a plain, tactile weave rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour reads as earthy and softened, sitting between olive green and warm brown, with lighter threads catching across the raised horizontal texture. At 645 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, while its 48 threads per cm contribute to the visibly close-woven surface. The 140 cm usable width makes it practical for furniture applications. With 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, the plain design can be cut without matching a motif.

How to use it

Pair Spanish Olive with warm timber, aged brass and natural linen to bring out its brown-gold depth, or use it on a statement armchair against softer neutral walls.

Use this weighty olive-brown chenille on sofas, armchairs and headboards where its tactile weave can be appreciated.

Pairs well with

Zoffany Chenille Spanish Olive is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
