About this fabric

This close view shows a plain chenille construction made from closely packed, small-scale woven loops, with the folded areas creating darker and lighter bands across the swatch. At 645 gsm, it has a substantial weight well suited to upholstery rather than a fine, fluid drapery cloth. The usable width is 140 cm, while the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, so there is no motif to match. Its Venetian Red colour is warm and grounded, sitting between saturated red and earthy terracotta for a rich, enveloping finish.

How to use it

Use this warm brick-red upholstery cloth on a tailored sofa, club chair or ottoman, pairing it with aged timber, dark metal and muted cream or ochre accents. Its dense texture adds depth without introducing a printed pattern.
