Tibetan Tiger Stripe Russet combines a deep, warm russet ground with ornate tiger-like motifs arranged between narrow vertical lattice stripes. Its earthy terracotta tone is softened by olive, tan and charcoal details, while the woven surface gives the design a gently irregular, tactile character.

About this fabric

The heavy 788gsm construction makes this a substantial textile for upholstery, with enough visual depth to hold its intricate vertical pattern on furniture. A 60cm vertical repeat and 63cm horizontal repeat set the scrolling animal motifs and framed stripe structure into a deliberate, architectural rhythm. In this colourway, the russet background reads muted rather than bright, allowing the cream, olive and dark brown ornament to emerge with aged, tapestry-like contrast. The 126.5cm usable width provides a generous working field for aligning the columns across an upholstered piece.

How to use it

Use the warm russet ground on a statement armchair, headboard or footstool, pairing it with tobacco leather, dark timber and muted olive accents. The restrained terracotta palette also works well against aged brass and layered, earthy neutrals.

Use this richly patterned russet textile to bring warmth and graphic rhythm to upholstered seating.
