About this fabric

This densely textured textile is dominated by antique-gold and smoky charcoal waves, with fine pale lines sharpening the irregular chevron-like motif. Its pattern repeats every 29cm vertically and 33cm horizontally, creating a strong but tightly controlled rhythm across upholstered surfaces. At 750gsm and 139 threads per centimetre, it has a substantial, richly packed handle suited to upholstery. The 131cm usable width and 25m standard length make it practical for planning larger furniture schemes.

How to use it

Use Kempshott Antique Gold on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm gold ground can sit against charcoal, walnut and softly aged neutrals. Keep surrounding fabrics quieter to let the rippling pattern provide the room’s graphic focus.
