About this fabric

Warm russet, paisley-like forms punctuate a tan ground, while sage-green scrolling outlines and small pale flecks give the dense layout a softly weathered depth. The 606 gsm weight and 68 threads per cm identify a substantial, closely made fabric suited to upholstery. With a 46.5 cm vertical repeat and 42.6 cm horizontal repeat, the compact motif has a regular but lively rhythm across the 128 cm usable width. The russet accents read warm and earthy against the cooler sage outlines, creating a layered, decorative finish rather than a bright or high-contrast effect.

How to use it

Use it on an upholstered chair, headboard or occasional seat where the warm russet can anchor a room of stone, tan and muted sage tones. Keep surrounding textiles quiet so the scrolling motif and changing russet-and-green depth remain the focus.

Use this richly patterned russet and sage textile to bring warmth and layered colour to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
