About this fabric

Warm ochre-gold bands run through the fabric in a quiet tonal stripe, shifting between honey, muted mustard and softly shaded gold. The close surface shows a fine, even weave, while the alternating bands catch the light with subtle changes in depth rather than a crisp two-colour contrast. At 210 gsm and 139 cm usable width, this is a versatile mid-weight suitable for upholstery or drapery. Its 14 cm horizontal repeat and 0 cm vertical repeat allow the vertical stripe to continue cleanly along the length.

How to use it

Use the warm ochre-gold tone to add sunlit depth to a neutral room, particularly on tailored upholstery, relaxed blinds or full-length curtains. Its low-contrast vertical rhythm works well with timber, aged brass and cream upholstery without introducing a loud pattern.

Warm ochre-gold tonal stripes bring an understated, tailored rhythm to upholstery and curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Suffolk Stripe Gold without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
