About this fabric

The swatch is a pale olive with a cool, softened green cast rather than a yellow or saturated olive tone. Its vertical stripe is formed from fine tonal lines beside subtly lighter and darker olive columns, giving the cloth a restrained woven texture. At 139 cm usable width and 210 gsm, it is a versatile mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery; the listed horizontal repeat is 14 cm and the vertical repeat is 0 cm. The construction is recorded at 226 threads per cm, with a standard length of 50 m.

How to use it

Pair this soft olive colourway with warm oak, chalky neutrals and natural linens, or use it on a tailored chair where its fine vertical rhythm can remain visible. It also brings a calm, gently green cast to full-length curtains and blinds.

Use this softly greyed olive stripe on occasional upholstery, curtains or blinds for a calm, tailored look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Suffolk Stripe Pale Olive without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
