Suffolk Stripe Stockholm Blue

Suffolk Damasks and Stripes FabricZOF0216-02

Suffolk Stripe Stockholm Blue presents alternating vertical bands in a soft, cool blue-grey, with the close-up revealing a fine, understated woven surface. The restrained contrast gives the stripe a calm, tonal character rather than a sharp graphic effect.

About this fabric

The Stockholm Blue colourway shifts between muted blue-grey stripes and paler mineral-blue bands, creating a softly layered appearance as the light moves across the cloth. Its fine, even texture is visible across the surface, adding depth without obscuring the clear vertical rhythm. At 210gsm and 226 threads per cm, this is a substantial, closely woven fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. It has a 139cm usable width, a 50m standard length, a 14cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical pattern repeat.

How to use it

Use this cool, softened blue-grey stripe on full-length curtains or a tailored chair where its low-contrast bands can add height without overwhelming the room. Combine it with chalky whites, pale woods and brushed metal for a light, quietly coordinated scheme.

Its cool blue-grey stripes bring quiet definition to curtains, blinds, seating or occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Suffolk Stripe Stockholm Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
