About this fabric

This 519 gsm velvet combines a deep, cool indigo ground with dark navy-black bars forming irregular rectangular sections across the face. The raised linear pattern is clearly defined against the fine vertical pile, while subtle changes in sheen shift the blue from vivid cobalt-indigo to near-black at the folds and intersections. Its vertical pattern repeat is 6.3 cm and its horizontal repeat is 6 cm, creating a compact geometric rhythm rather than a large-scale motif. With a 142 cm usable width, 75 threads per centimetre and a standard 50 m length, it offers a substantial textile specification for upholstery applications.

How to use it

Use this cool, saturated indigo on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its dark grid can read as graphic structure. Pair it with charcoal, smoked glass and pale timber, or temper the blue depth with warm tan leather and aged brass.
