About this fabric

This colourway reads as a saturated indigo rather than a bright navy, giving it a cool, enveloping depth. Its surface appears softly raised and velvety, with irregular cloudy movement that catches the light without forming a defined motif. The supplied record lists no composition, width, rub test or performance features for this fabric. The dark tone and plush-looking texture give Grain Indigo a particularly rich, luxe presence on upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use Grain Indigo on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool inky tone can anchor a room. Pair it with pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal to bring out the subtle blue variation in the cloth.

A deep, cool indigo with softly mottled depth, ideal for rich statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
