About this fabric

The colour sits at the deepest end of the blue palette, with inky navy areas softened by smoky blue-grey variation. Its low-contrast, irregular grain gives the surface a plush, brushed impression, while faint lighter patches catch the light across the swatch. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this SKU. The dense-looking face makes it read as an upholstery-led textile, subject to confirming the intended application against the full technical information.

How to use it

Use this near-black navy on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its smoky variation can add depth without introducing a visible pattern. Pair it with pale timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass to keep the dark blue from reading flat.

A dark, cloudy navy with a softly brushed look for upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
