About this fabric
This fabric shows a dark denim-blue ground with an irregular, grain-like surface that creates gentle movement across the swatch. Smoky grey tonal variation catches the light in soft patches, while the deeper areas give the colour a grounded, charcoal depth. The low-contrast texture feels atmospheric rather than patterned, with no obvious motif or repeat visible. Its cool, subdued tone brings a tailored yet relaxed quality to upholstered furniture.
How to use it
Pair Grain Denim with pale oak, warm grey and chalky neutrals to soften its cool charcoal-blue depth. It would bring quiet contrast to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard without introducing a strong graphic pattern.
