About this fabric
The lead-grey colour reads as balanced and restrained, with gentle tonal shifts rather than a sharp or flat solid shade. Fine irregular markings move across the surface in a cloudy, almost brushed-looking pattern. The close texture catches the light softly, creating a quiet change in depth without introducing a strong motif. This low-contrast, non-directional appearance makes the fabric particularly suited to upholstered forms where the material itself provides the visual interest.
How to use it
Pair Grain Lead with pale timber, chalky neutrals or darker charcoal accents for a calm, contemporary room. Its soft grey depth also works well as a grounding upholstery on curved seating and occasional chairs.
