Grain Tan

Grain Fabric

Grain Tan has a rich caramel-brown appearance, softened by cloudy tonal variation across the surface. The close-up image shows a dense, softly brushed-looking texture rather than a defined motif.

About this fabric

The warm tan shade shifts subtly between amber, tobacco and deeper brown, giving the fabric a grounded, enveloping character. Fine mottling creates a gently irregular surface, with lighter patches catching the light across the swatch. Its close, substantial-looking texture makes it best suited to upholstery applications. No composition, width, usage or rub-test specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Grain Tan on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its warm caramel depth can add softness without introducing a separate pattern. Balance the brown-tan tone with natural timber, cream upholstery or muted olive accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
